By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2012-06-17 17:00:55 CDT
tdetoys provides an applet named fifteenpieces. This is a puzzle game more than a "toy." Fifteenpieces resides in the panel. The pieces are very small and all but impossible to see, let alone move, except with very large monitors.

Resolution: Convert from an applet to a normal app. Make the game reside as a normal window rather than a panel applet. Provide a TDE menu option in either Toys or Games, or both.

What is involved to convert to a normal app and move to tdegames?

Looks like the KDE4 folks retained the puzzle as an applet (plasma widget) but the puzzle is playable. The puzzle is an icon when in the panel but a single-click opens the puzzle to a much larger size to allow playing. Probably a sane plan for Trinity too. The panel icon could be the default fifteenpieces icon (blue jigsaw puzzle piece).

The KDE4 version allows the user to choose the number of squares per row. Would be a nice feature to add but not as important as make the puzzle playable.

Looks to me we can close this bug.
The applet is playable and functional. And we now have a stand alone app in tdegames as well.
I see no reason to remove the panel applet, since someone may be playing it :-)
