By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Jeffry Johnston 2012-06-24 10:59:38 CDT
When my disk space gets low, a window pops up "Low Disk Space - KDE Daemon". It tells me my disk space has dropped below 4%, and offers to let me start Konqueror, etc. However, none of the buttons or checkbox in that window do anything (they don't even interact, so for example clicking a button does not depress it). I can move the window, and I can click the context help question mark in the titlebar (but again clicking the window does nothing). Clicking the X to close the window also does nothing, the window stays there.

When searching for similar bugs, I found http://bugs.pearsoncomputing.net/show_bug.cgi?id=428 but that appears different, because that user was able to interact with the window, while I cannot.

xkill dismisses the window, however it also breaks the "Storage Media" view, which then tells me "The KDE mediamanager is not running.". I recorded before and after ps listings, and discovered that "kded [kdeinit] --new-startup" is what is destroyed by xkill. Running it again doesn't seem to restore Storage Media functionality, so I may be invoking it incorrectly or it's just one of those things that should never be killed.

I installed Trinity using the following repository:
deb-src http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity-v3.5.13/ubuntu oneiric main

Please, first to add a ppa with prepared update for 3.5.13.1.
See instructions on:

https://quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/~slavek-banko/+archive/axis

And test the behavior with upcoming 3.5.13.1.

I'm afraid to use that repository because I don't want to break my system, but I'll be happy to re-test when 3.5.13.1 goes live.

Tried on 3.5.13.1. The disk space warning window is responsive now. Marking resolved.
