kaffeine patch for wizard menu
This patch adds an entry "Launch Wizard" to the Settings menu.
If selected, the wizard is launch.
The patch works nicely here. Thank you! Great, patch works well. Just one question / suggestion: I suppose wizard will be used rather exceptional, and therefore does not need such a simple default keyboard shortcut, or need absolutely no default keyboard shortcut. What do you think? Doesn't matter to me. I'm fine with either choice. :-) One more suggestion: Instead of Launch Wizard use Installation Wizard. In order for users clear that this is a wizard, which was seen at first start and not a some configuration wizard. What do you think? >One more suggestion: Instead of Launch Wizard use Installation Wizard.
Sounds good.
(In reply to comment #6) > >One more suggestion: Instead of Launch Wizard use Installation Wizard. > Sounds good. Sounds good to me too. As for the shortcut key, feel free to remove it before pushing the patch to GIT if you want, even though it doesn't do any harm if it is present. Created attachment 1667 [details]
Patch with updated "Launch"->"Installation"
Please review and test the updated patch.
I'm concerned whether I revised the shortcut key code (Key_W -> 0). Please review and correct if necessary. :-)
An observation: when I select the Settings menu using Alt+S and immediately press Esc, the menu does not deactivate immediately. I never paid attention to this behavior before, so this might be nothing.
I had prepared a patch almost identical :) But you were faster in publishing. Pushed to GIT in hash 02977208. Thank you both. |
