I have no problem to launch and use gwenview.
Is this bug still valid?

I cannot replicate the original bug but I can still get gwenview to crash as reported in bug 1053.

Gwenview has been working fine for long time. Closing for no inactivity and perhaps it was a temporary bug in the middle of lot of renaming.
Reopen the bug if you can still reproduce it systematically and provide detailed info.
If gwenview crashes on svg files, please see bug 1053.
