Ctl-Alt-Del is disabled in VirtualBox as a safety precaution to avoid rebooting the entire system. To invoke Ctl-Alt-Del in VirtualBox, use the VirtualBox menu or use "host key" + Del. Even then the key sequence might not work. Hi Darrell, I've attempted injection of the "Ctl-Alt-Del" combination already, including using "host key" + Del, but I get no response. I haven't been able to find anything on the internet that would suggest a guest would have a disposition for "failing" to recognise the injection. Note: try setting UseSAK=false in the kdmrc (tdmrc) config file. Then no prompt for Ctrl-alt-Del should appear. This works with the latest GIT HEAD in VirtualBox (retested today). This is likely due to recent changes to tsak to fix udev interaction problems. Therefore, I am marking this RESOLVED FIXED. If this problem reappears with the latest GIT HEAD (or TDE nightly builds), please reopen this bug report. |
