By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Correct aplet size in KDE3 on openSUSE

Desktop switcher

Desktop switcher placed on the panel has three background setting. When "Elegant" is selected, the icons representing desktops should become squares. Instead they remain as rectangles as if "Transparent" was selected as a background option.

I tested using the current sources and whatever option is used for the taskbar appearance, the size of the desktop panes remains the same.
The difference between square and rectangular is caused by the option Desktop Preview -> Pager options -> Windows thumbnails. When the option is disabled, the panels are squared, when thumbnails are requested, the panels becomes rectangular to match the screen shape (obviously I am testing on a rectangual screen).

Why is this ticket closed as invalid? The reason I reported this bug was that no matter which option was chosen in the Pager Options the switcher panel was never square. To be specific: deselecting Window Thumbnails didn't make it square. Perhaps this has changed since I reported the bug. Or perhaps not. But please allow me to at least test it and report back whether I still experience the problem before closing it. I will have access to my trinity machine on Tuesday - I'll check then and report then. For now I am reopening the ticket.

Hi Jan, my apologies. In the last couple of days I have closed some old bugs that appear to "have disappear". I usually add the string "feel free to reopen this bug if the problem persists", but in this case I obviously forgot that.
No problem with you reopening the bug report. Please test on your machine and update us.
On my test machines and my system I can always replicate the same behavior, that is:
1) changing the pager style (classic, elegant, transparent) has no effect on the size of the panes
2) changing pane options (such as the windows thumbnail) does affect the panel size.

I can confirm that this now works correctly in Trinity 3.5.13.2. Closing
