By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

I'm thinking this patch applies to R14 as well?

yes, if someone can confirm it works with another distribution using Xine 1.2, you can push it to R14 too.

The patch works fine with xine 1.1.17 and R14, therefore backwards compatibility is good. :) As you already built against xine 1.2, I pushed the patch to git in commit 8d45a64d.
