Created attachment 854 [details] Patch to change storage location of gtk_qt_engine_rc cache file gtk-qt-engine creates a cache file named .gtk_qt_engine_rc that defaults to being saved in the root of $HOME. That is not an ideal location, as the file becomes Yet Another File to Clutter My Home Directory. Two possible options are $HOME/.cache or $TDEHOME/cache-$HOSTNAME. The attached patch changes the location to $TDEHOME/cache-$HOSTNAME. I tested on Slackware but somebody else should test on a different system before pushing to GIT.
