By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Ilya 2009-11-11 10:37:57 CST
Separate Compiz (of old version), which conflicts with normal
Compiz from the repo resulting in no compiz working at all.

Open SuSE KDE3 team managed to make KDE3 to work well with current
compiz.

Fixed.

FYI, I cannot use the stock Ubuntu compiz packages because several options were disabled; however I have repaired the conflict and updated the -kde3 Compiz version to the latest (0.8.4), as well as repaired virtual desktop support.

At least compiz-kde3 should be marked as conflicting with compiz to not allow them to be installed simultaniously.
Comment 3 Timothy Pearson 2009-11-14 12:08:10 CST
They don't conflict any more...are you still getting an error?

Make sure the compiz-kde3 versions are all at 0.8.4; the PPA may have been slow to publish.
