Created attachment 13 [details] Image of the HAL error dialog Whenever I log out of a KDE3 session, I get an obscure HAL error message. It appears only briefly, *after* the computer has dropped to a black screen, and disappears before I can read it, let alone respond to it. I managed to capture an image with my camera, which is what prompted me to write this report - it says that HAL is trying to unmount my system's primary hard disk! This does not when using (er, shutting down) KDE4, Gnome, or XFCE. Photo of the error dialog attached.
