By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Kris 2012-11-24 17:29:09 CST
Very useful for keyboard-lovers is the ability to switch tabs via a keyboard shortcut, e.g. like Firefox's CTRL+Tab.

Note to all: There is already support for keyboard shortcuts for activating the Next and Previous tab, but I don't think Ctrl-Tab is supported.

I am unable to figure out what these shortcuts are, nor am I able to find a place to configure them, neither in Konqueror settings nor in KControl -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts.

Konqueror -> Settings -> Configure Shortcuts ->

Activate Next Tab
Activate Previous Tab

Works well, especially for file management. Adding Ctrl-Tab would be nice.

I am not seeing Configure Shortcuts (nor anything else related to "shortcuts") in my Konqueror settings, nor is Konqueror listed in KControl's Keyboard Shortcuts module that I mentioned above.

Sounds like a build problem. What Trinity version and distro are you using?

There were some recent GIT patches made related to report 1313 that possibly could create the behavior you describe.

Do you see the menu option with a temporary fresh profile?

I am using the latest R14 nightlies for Debian 6.0 Squeeze. I don't really think the term "nightlies" is appropriate here, though -- it seems more like "every-few-nightlies" (I haven't seen updates in almost a week, and I check daily).

Nope.
Comment 7 Darrell 2012-11-25 15:21:15 CST
Okay. Irritating but watch for the next package set update. As I mentioned, recent XDG patches could cause such behavior. If the next package set exhibits the same behavior then please contact Tim. :)

Kris, is this report still valid? I am unable to replicate with the latest GIT.

Ctrl+. and Ctrl+, (or Ctrl+[ and Ctrl+]) are the default key shortcuts to move to the next/prev tab.
Ctrl+Tab/Ctrl+Shift+Tab can be configured from Settings -> Configure shortcuts if needed.

I am closing this bug. Feel free to reopen it if the problem persists.
