By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Nityesh 2012-12-06 23:08:17 CST
When I browse the network in konqueror "smb://ntecho/Data/Music" (This share is from a winXP sp3 system) it will only display 131 folders, it has total of 4,126 folders (192GB), furthermore, only the folders from "A" to "B" are displayed.

If I mount the share with smbmount it will display all 4,126 folders "A" to "Z".

If I browse the shares using another winXP system it displays all folders correctly.

I have tried this on the fedora TDE image you have provided on you website (TDE_FC17_i386.iso) from http://mirror.ntmm.org/trinity/trinity/rpm/f17/trinity-3.5.13/ISO/ , and still the same thing, I have tried changing the kernel to the lastest version, still the same behavier.

I am willing to fix this bug if you can give me some pointers, like what script or binary file is used when browsing the smb protocol in konqueror.

Konqueror uses smb kioslave which utilizes the smbclient library. IMO The first place there you should look for a bug is there: http://git.trinitydesktop.org/cgit/tdebase/tree/kioslave/smb
