By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description David Hare 2012-12-18 08:58:43 CST
Using kcontrol in "administrator mode", e.g. to set autologin, causes /etc/trinity/kdm/kdmrc to be entirely overwritten. The previous commented lines are no longer there.

Those lines contained either notes of what defaults could be changed and how or could be simply uncommented and manually edited to change something.

This behaviour is a limitation for a user to do any manual change which is sometimes necessary.

I would like to see a backup made that retains the original comments but the worrking version has comments stripped to improve readability. Perhaps the commented version could be renamed tdmrc.help or tdmrc.orig. I have been doing this manually for years.
