By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Jist 2013-01-29 14:45:01 CST
Running a fresh install of TDE on a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04.

K->Settings->Network Settings

Pops up the Network Settings dialogue. However it also pops up another dialogue "Your Platform is Not Supported" and ask to choose from a list. None of the items comes close to Ubuntu 12.04 (kubuntu 9.04 might be possibly close).

Can't configure network settings without this.

Hello, I think that this utility is obsolete.
It can only create "legacy" network configuration files, but I think that most users use networkmanager.

I think you can safely choose "kubuntu 9.04", it should still work on newer Ubuntu.

If we add "Ubuntu 12.04" to the list, you would avoid the "unsupported distribution" message, but it would still not support networkmanager.

Fixed in GIT hash 9334a8a5.

It remains true what he said François - in 3.5.13.x branch NetworkManager is not supported on newer distros - if distro uses NetworkManager newer than 8.x. It will be supported in R14.
