Thank you for your report. In the future, please append the missing package name to bug #7 in a comment. I will leave bug #7 open until all KDE3 packages are properly recompiled. Incidentally, piklab-kde3 is now available. I installed piklab-kde3 (thanks! :) ) but I received the following error message when trying to start it: $ piklab piklab: error while loading shared libraries: libktexteditor.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory libktexteditor.so.0 is part of package kdelibs4c2a-kde3, but resides in /usr/kde3/lib/ which is not known to ld.so by default. I added kde3.conf under /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ containig the only line "/usr/kde3/lib/|, ran ldconfig and now piklab works fine. I guess this ld.so conf file should be part of the kdelibs4c2a-kde3 package. Thank you for the detailed report and suggested fix. The fix has been implemented and tested working on my systems--please make sure that the problem has been fixed on yours. Works fine, thanks! |
