By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Sergey Frolov 2013-03-31 02:29:52 CDT
Currently krandrtray does not take advantage of powerful system notification framework built in TDE. Personally I use this functionality a lot for event-based triggering of my scripts.

Thanks.

What is the issue/enhancement required here? tderandr seems to work fine, respond to events and provide notifications.
Is this report still valid?

One of the key features of kde3 was a unified system notification
framework.
Any key event can be annotated with sound, logged, or trigger a script.
Script trigger provided user with the the possibility to greatly expand
default behavior and cover exotic use-cases or cover up for bugs.

In order to see what I'm talking about, please launch TDE control
center, and go "Sound & Multimedia -> System Notifications".

What I'd like to see in tderandr, is exposed event hooks for changes in
screen size, orientation, resolution, outputs.

I'm a little bit hazy on full extent of things I wanted to put in my
hooks in 2013, but one thing that is still relevant is a restart of a
certain apps, that do not cope well with primary output size/orientation
changes.
