By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

I'm opening this report as a mechanism to track the cleanup of *.desktop files used in the TDE launcher menu. I'm adding this report to the R14.0.0 etherpad road map.

None of the problems are fatal, yet there are many desktop files needing editorial attention. Some menu items are missing descriptions, some use incorrect/inconsistent capitalization, etc.

A full installation is required because the problems arise with apps that many people are unlikely to install.

The cleanup is necessary to provide a polished and professional look.

tderadio updated in commit ee9d42d0. The missing icon in the launcher menu mentioned in comment 9 remains unresolved. There are icons in the final package, installed at $PREFIX/share/apps/tderadio/icons, but no icon appears in the menu. Also no icon appears when typing tderadio in the mini cli.

Missing tderadio icons in launcher menu and mini clit fixed in commit a11c3d3a.

tderadio has bigger problems as reported in bug report 1469. :)

I believe I have resolved the menu problems I notice, but I'll leave the report open as I don't build and install 100% of all possible Trinity packages.
