tork 0.33 : fix missing linker flags and FTBFS
Please note that TORK requires the TORSOCKS library, which may or may not be provided by your distribution. https://code.google.com/p/torsocks Torsocks 1.3: http://www.wangafu.net/~nickm/torsocks-1.3.tar.gz Building TORK 0.33 (with torsocks 1.3 already installed): Untar original tarball: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/tork/TorK%20Source%20Tarball/TorK-0.33/tork-0.33.tar.gz Apply attached patch. Convert QT3/TQT3. Convert KDE3/TDE. Guess what ? It just works out of the box :-) I noticed that TQt conversion caused some unwanted renaming the documentation, translations, and especially in the GeoIP folder. In the script convert_existing_kde3_app_to_tde I added additional renaming KIO_, which is also important for Tork. Now I have ready local GIT repository for pushing into official repository. Debian/Ubuntu packaging files are already in place. New GIT repository available via: git clone http://scm.trinitydesktop.org/scm/git/tork The autobuild system and main TDE repository have not yet been updated. New GIT repository pushed. Main TDE repository updated. Debian/Ubuntu packaging files are already on place. Marking NEEDINFO pending results of autobuilds on build farm. Autobuild system updated. Now just waiting on results of autobuilds. Thank you all for your efforts in preparing the package. The package seems to be ready. |
