By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Source code for package

Any chance of getting KlcdDimmer packaged for 14? My laptop does not allow me to change brightness under Trinity. Works under other DEs so I was wondering if we could get this.

Get original source code from link.
Then:

tar xfz ~/Téléchargements/klcddimmer-0.3.tar.gz
cd klcddimmer-0.3

mv admin/localm4/sword.m4 .
rm -rf admin

# Convert QT3 to TQT3
~/tde/tde_r14/experimental/qt3-tqt3/convert_existing_qt3_app_to_tqt3

# Convert KDE3 to TDE
~/tde/tde_r14/experimental/kde-tde/convert_existing_kde3_app_to_tde

Copy TDE's "admin" folder to source folder.

Then build as usual, using autotools.

Note: once built , the kicker applet complains that it cannot set brightness on my desktop computer. Not tried yet on laptop computer.

Francois Thanks for getting back to me.
I have a couple of questions
When you say "Copy TDE's "admin" folder to source folder." Where do I get the TDE admin folder?
You also sat to build as usual with autotools but I am not sure how to do that. I have compiled a few programs and kernels over the years but I am no expert.

When you hold for a while, so I prepare the integration of the program into official TDE git repository.

I have ready a local git repository to be pushed to the official repository.
Debian / Ubuntu packaging files I have also ready.
