By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2013-05-17 14:17:16 CDT
On TDE 3.5.13.2 with just tdebase installed (no dolphin, no other file manager), I open konqueror with the "file management profile", by clicking the "Home folder" icon in kicker.

Konqueror file manager show up. In the left pane, I see the folders under my ohome directory, and in the right pane, I have the detailed content.

In the left pane, I can browse directories by single-clicking any of them. A single click in left pane is sufficient to show this folder's content in right pane automatically.

Then I open "Settings" -> "Configure Konqueror" (not sure about the translations).
Open "File types associations", and change any association setting, e.g. I set the ".avi" files to open with VLC for example.
Then click "OK", a small popup shows that new settings are being applied, then both the popup and the Konqueror configuration window close.

Starting from now, a single-click in a folder in the left pane does not automatically shows its content in right pane. I have to double-click in left pane to make its content visible.

From what I remember (not tested), this bug has always existed in KDE3.

Confirmed in the latest R14 GIT.

Closing konqueror and reopening, even with an instance preloaded, or opening a second instance of konqueror, results in restoring the single-click functionality. The bug seems to only affect the currently opened instance.

I tested this in a 3.5.10 virtual machine. I confirmed the bug exists there. :-)

This is old KDE bug 91189 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91189).

Fixed in GIT hash 3a3d187.

Thanks for reporting!
