tqca : fix build with QT3 on Trinity 3.5.13.2
OK, I will provide backported TQCA and TQCA-TLS packages from Trinity R14 on Trinity 3.5.13.2 .
Here is the patch for building TQCA.

tqca-tls : fix build with QT3 on Trinity 3.5.13.2
Patch to build TQCA-TLS from Trinity R14 under Trinity 3.5.13.2

That leaves me with one question though: Will Kopete recognize and use TQCA-TLS despite asking for QCA-TLS?? Even though the package is named "tqca", the library is still named "libqca", so it should work with kopete. The TQCA-TLS package is available and installed, and I've confirmed the presence of libqca-tls.so under /usr/lib64/qt-3.3/plugins/crypto/ , however Kopete does not recognize it -- it still asks for QCA-TLS for SSL support. I did a 'yum upgrade' when I noticed the availability of TQCA-TLS to ensure I was upgraded to the latest RHEL/CentOS packages. Please, try to download and install these new packages manually: http://trinity.mangafrance.com/el6/trinity-3.5.13/RPMS/x86_64/dependencies/trinity-tqca-1.0-2.el6.opt.x86_64.rpm http://trinity.mangafrance.com/el6/trinity-3.5.13/RPMS/x86_64/dependencies/trinity-tqca-tls-1.0-2.el6.opt.x86_64.rpm Then report if it solves your issue, thanks. Fixed, and even resolves a "yum upgrade". I'm still a bit cautious on marking this report as RESOLVED since I don't know of those packages are officially in the repo, but if they are :-) Packages pushed to official repository. |
