By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2013-06-08 14:44:45 CDT
Hello, in some distributions, such as Fedora 18, Gwenview FTBFS because header 'jpegint.h' is missing.

transupp.c:1594:21: fatal error: jpegint.h: No such file or directory

There are several links in google about this problem. From what I understand, this header, as its name suggests, is "jpeg internal" and should NOT be included by an application. That's why many distributions do not ship it.

For now, I workaround by getting the jpegint.h file from the jpeg source code and putting it under /usr/include , but a better solution is needed.

In digikam and kipi-plugins is this solved in a way that is contained in them local copy of jpegint.h. Sure - it's not the ideal way. However, the versions for KDE4 apparently also do not have a better solution.

Francois, is this bug still valid? In Debian there are no problems, but I don't know about Fedora.

In commit 3e831311 was added local copy of jpegint.h - same as is in digikam and kipi-plugins. I think, this resolves this bug.
