I've tried several times to download the file from filefactory and every time it fails. Can you upload it to Mega ? By saying that it fails, what do you mean? Do you mean that you can't download it from the beginning to the end or that the md5 checksum is not the right one? If you have downloaded it completely, here is the right checksum: 3ef0d72aab88cf115cd6081273d9ab83 The problem is that I have been fool enough to put the wrong checksum in my release announcement... I do many remasters and when I get the right one, I upload it, but when I selected the file to get the checksum, I guess I didn't used the right file :) Let me know if it was just a checksum problem or if you really can't download it! If you can't, then I will upload it on mega. -Alexandre No, I do not even manage to download the 1.7GB. The file does not download completely. For example, at about 10% (may vary every time), the download stops progressing. Firefox keeps trying for about 15 minutes, then it gives up and says the download is finished, even though the file is far from being complete. I've already tried about 10 times, I never managed to get more than ~15% of the file. Can you try to download it from somewhere else? A friend, an internet café, at work, McDonald's... Works fine for me to download it, but I already had this kind of problem at places where Internet was not always reliable. Does your computer is low on RAM? These kinds of websites sometimes uses lots of RAM or temporary disk space while it downloads. It happens especially on my little Android tablet, where I don't have much space (500-600mb) on the internal disk. Even with a big sd card, it doesn't work. -Alexandre OK I've finally downloaded the image with correct checksum. I'm uploading it into the official repository, then it will take some days to synchronize on the mirrors. The image will appear in: http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/pclinuxos/ISO/ I cannot delete the old image because it's not in my directory tree, but I can edit the Wiki to reflect the directory change. Thank you! So this ''bug'' can be closed! -Alexandre Synchronization finished, wiki updated. The new URL is: http://ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net/trinity/trinity/rpm/pclinuxos/ISO/ |
