By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

As non-root user, when in KControl->System Administration->Login Manager:

* Change the view to any tab other than the default Appearance.
* Enable Adminstrator Mode.
* KControl returns to the Appearance tab rather than the previously selected tab.

Probably the same thing as bug report 1490

The original problem described in bug report 1490 seems resolved from commit 7d335195.

The problem described here in this bug report still exists. :-)

This bug and the bug 1490 are very different. Bug 1490 was that when switching to administrator mode, the module (process) does not start at all. This bug is that the newly started module (yes, switchover to administrator mode is new start of module => new process) does not know information, which tab should be shown as default.

I'm afraid that the solution requires more effort. By the way, severity for this bug could probably be set to enhancement or wishlist.
