By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2013-10-17 16:17:52 CDT
Some Trinity apps do not terminate when selecting Close. Instead they minimize to the system tray.

When in the system tray the Quit option is available in the icon popup menu

When the app is open on the desktop and the user opens the popup menu for the respective panel app icon, only the Close option is available. The Close option minimizes the app to the system tray.

Although there are ways to terminate these apps when open, such apps that allow configuring Close to mean minimize to the system tray should display the Quit option in the panel popup menu.

Darrell, perhaps we can list here those apps that need a Close option in the menu

Quit option.... :-)

Here are some apps I use that I am aware:

kmail
akgregator
kalarm
amarok
kmix

I'm sure other Trinity apps that minimize to the system tray can be added, although I don't use them and am unaware.

Granted, the popup menu in the system tray includes a Quit option. Just the popup menu in the panel doesn't. When apps are open and an icon appears in the panel, a normal user inclination is to quit the app from there. The Close option only minimizes the app to the system tray.
