By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description orcwog 2013-12-16 12:10:10 CST
Now that Qt3 seems to be depreciated everywhere, I'd would love it if TDE could package kdevmon, a network monitor that I can't live without. I'm having trouble building it on a new machine on my own without qt3 libs available. It also looks like it could use a home.

This utility seems to work well under TDE R14.

How to build (for developers):

Untar the archive, then go in untarred folder, then:

rm -rf ./admin
run "convert_existing_qt3_app_to_tqt3"
run "convert_existing_kde3_app_to_tde"

Notice: in several files under "kdevmon" folder, there are occurences of "localkdedir()" that must be replaced with "localkdedir()"
=> Need to update conversion script.

Update file "kdevmon/Makefile.am" so that "kdevmon_LDADD" contains $(LIB_TDEIO)

Then copy "admin" folder from GIT and build as usual with autotools.

Now wait for the package to be imported in GIT, then the binary packages will be built.

You should read: "localkdedir()" that must be replaced with "localtdedir()"

Thanks for the build instructions. It took a bit to get automake running right, but I finally got it.

Still looking forward to seeing it built with TDE :)
