Note: The tdebase patch includes changes to r14-xdg-update and $SCRIPT_VERSION=201312270. The changes include updating any existing user profile kdebugdialogrc -> tdedebugdialogrc. If r14-xdg-update is updated again before these patches are pushed to git then the tdebase patch will have to be updated with a more recent $SCRIPT_VERSION variable. Patche for tdebase (attachment 1759 [details]) is identical with a patch for tdelibs (attachment 1758 [details]). Darrell, please, can you attach new patch for tdebase? The only small adjustment: In r14-xdg-update new rule encapsulated into condition by SCRIPT_VERSION and used Log for message.

Yes, I know. Just because due to new conditions with SCRIPT_DATE patch for me was merged in the wrong place. That was the reason why I updated the patch immediately.
Keeping these two bug reports synchronized is tad of a nuisance. For my testing I've been tempted to temporarily stop the kdebugdialog->tdebugdialog patches until after we close bug 1805. For sure, although I am not seeing any problems with the renaming, this bug report should not receive priority over bug 1805. :) (Odpověď na komentář #15)

I'm ready to push all patches from 1793, 1794, 1795, 1796 and 1805. Because some also require a patches for tde-packaging, and I'm ready to do it in one fell swoop. Once we confirm that everything is OK, I'll push...
If you feel confident then push them all now. I just rebuilt tdebase with no failures. I have not retested all configuration scenarios from bug 1805, but I will be mildly busy today and unable to test until tonight or tomorrow. I don't believe the final changes we made to r14-xdg-update were significant. If I discover additional testing bugs with 1805 then we can handle them separately after the fact. All patches are pushed to GIT, including Debian/Ubuntu changes in tde-packaging. In patch for tde-i18n was necessary further adjustments. |
