By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Michele Calgaro 2014-01-23 07:51:42 CST
Kate already provides the functionality to "match" a brace/parenthesis. This is achieve with Ctrl+6, which I think is hardcoded.
I searched the whole menu and shortcut configuration page, and no where there is a reference to this.
I got to know it while reviewing Kate's handbook (reviewing handbooks actually teachs you something sometimes :) )

I had been wishing for this feature to be present for I don't know how long. Instead it was already there.
Probably other users were also looking for it.

Ctrl+6 is also the shortcut in TDevelop

Actually the shortcut is available for customization, but the place is completely NON user friendly. It can be accessed through Settings -> Configure Kate -> Editor -> Shortcuts. Similarly for KWrite and TDevelop (Configure Editor).

IMO, all shortcuts used by an application should be available from the Settings -> Configure shortcut, otherwise users may missed some shortcuts.
Another important problem is that shortcuts between editor and application are not cross-checked, i.e it is possible to setup the same shortcut in the editor and in the application for two different actions: only one would work.

Bug 1907 also need to be reworked for the same reason.

Ctrl+6 does not seem to work all the times in Kate and TDevelop.
Need to investigate why.
