By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

kcheckgmail http://kcheckgmail.sf.net/
is a little applet which sits in the systray and periodicall checks for new mail on gmail server. It works with https and there seem to be no problem on trinity lucid with it.

Latest version non ported to KDE4 is 0.5.8.1, 0.6 onwards devs have gone with qt4, so following upstream releases should need some work, but until then.. hey why not have an extra gmail checker that works without GTK+ / QT4 dependencies ? ;)

It could be easily ported now, I simply configured it with
`./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 --includedir=/opt/kde3/include/kde/`
and make .

It looks like 0.5.8.1 is no more compatible with current GMail authentication mechanism.
At least, this is the message I've get when running it today.

Changing to wish list. Likely we would have to copy the 0.5.8.1 version to the applications tree, patch to conform to tqt3, as well as patch to the latest authentication.

8 years from initial request, no follow up and required too many changes. Closing as won't fix.
