By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Hi!

This is an easy one!

On TDE R14 nightly build, on top of Ubuntu 13.10, lauching konqueror as a super-user by typing this:

sudo konqueror
(my password)

It causes Konqueror to start as it should, with the welcome screen, but if I open a second tab and write ''/'' in the address bar, to use Konq as a file manager, the background is totally black, which makes it impossible to read the name of the files and folders.

The way to clear this bug is just to set the default color of the background at either white, or the default picture, for the root user.

Not that simple :)
I had this happening to me occasionally, usually after changing styles or window decoration.
Changing the background color to a different one seems to have no effect, the background remains always black, unless I set a picture.
After a reboot, usually it is ok again.
Obviously there is a bug somewhere, just it is not that straightforward

I have not seen this bug any more in the last 2-3 years.
How about you Alex? What is the status of this bug report?
