This is a meta bug that serves as a link to all bugs selected for the release of v14.0.0. If you have any comment on any of the bugs, please comment on the original bug report.

In addition to this, the following things are allowed until we reach RC1:
1) updates of kate syntax highlight files
2) updates of handbook contents
3) updates of po translation files
4) updates of graphical contents (images, splash screens,...)

Added following bugs:
- 2015: graphical rework
- 2016: FTBFS on Debian/Jessie and Ubuntu Trusty. While Jessie is still a rolling version, Trusty is going to be the next Ubuntu release. So this bug needs to be addressed since v14.0.0 will be released some months after Trusty

Added bugs 2055 and 2057, since migration from 3.5.13.2 to 14.0.0 should be smooth for the end users.
Recommended way to proceed:
1) fix all bugs until 2015, so that the core of v14.0.0 is ready.
2) test migration from 3.5.13.2 to v14.0.0 and fix all relevant bugs (this includes 2055 and 2057 as well)
