By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Slávek Banko 2014-04-26 19:18:52 CDT
Without enabled compton-tde - suspend to ram / resume works correctly. With enabled compton-tde after resume, the screen remains black - appears only the mouse cursor. However on mouse move is obvious that responds to the seemingly displayed GUI - changes the pointer type, depending upon which item is currently in GUI. And, for example, Ctrl+Atl+Del => Enter will make the correct logout.

Note: Suspend to disk / resume I can not test because on my test notebook is not working.

Can you please test again with the latest GIT sources to verify that this problem still exists? Many months worth of upstream Compton development were merged a few days ago and this issue may very well have been resolved.

If this issue still exists please try to replicate with the latest Compton GIT sources from https://github.com/chjj/compton. You will need to kill compton-tde (probably multiple times in rapid succession) until it terminates and does not respawn, then run compton and see if the issue still exists. If it does then please report the bug upstream in the Compton issue tracker.

Note that compton-tde works perfectly across suspend/resume and hibernate/resume on my IBM test laptop with Intel graphics.

Thanks!

I tested with the packages corresponding to RC1 - both backends XRender and GLX. On both after resume screen remains black and appears only the mouse cursor. But it is a very old notebook - HP/Compaq nx9005 with ATI Radeon IGP320M.

Upstream Compton I'll try later.

By the way, although it is very old notebook, TDE on it works very well!
