That's interesting. At least from this perspective that between the KDE3 / TDE3.5 and TDE R14 + tdepowersave is a significant difference. In the previous version were powersaving features depend on HAL and its availability. With new version has only a common dependence on d-bus interface. I noticed this in KDE3 on systems where KDE3 had been patched to use Hotplug rather than HAL, so I doubt this is dependent on what KDE/TDE uses to detect/communicate with hardware. Is this bu still valid? |
