Same here in 14.0.5. Attempt to burn an audio CD with CD-Text (enable by default) crashes k3b. Burning works when CD-Text is disabled. Using 4:14.0.5-0debian8.0.0+0 on Devuan Jessie. Burning would start by decoding the compressed audio files to .wav files and would crash after producing some .inf files. The .inf files did not contain information from the CDtext information about the tracks or album. Removed Wodim from the system. Restarted k3b. Burning of CDTEXT works in DAO mode using cdrdao. Normalize audio was enabled. Suggest that the CDtext tab enable check box should force dao mode and the use of cdrdao. Created attachment 2414 [details] k3b.tdecrash file Crash happens on clicking the burn icon. Crash report was blocked, possibly by our exchange server. Attached here. While trying to debug this I tried to save the 'image' which only resulted in audio wav files. The CDtext was not saved anywhere. I tried saving the project to a file. The file could not be retreived, the program complained that the file could not be opened.
