By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Bug 2367

Summary: package libical1 renamed to libical1a

Description westlake2012 2015-02-11 14:40:31 CST
Package renamed in debian is causing problems for tde-trinity to install, the following is taken from the command line output of apt-get on a Debian testing/jessie workstation.

apt-get install tde-trinity
..
 tde-trinity : Depends: tdeaddons-trinity (>= 4:14.0.0~) but it is not going to be installed
--

it turns out when i check further,
kaddressbook-trinity : Depends: libical1 (>= 1.0) but it is not installable

the package that kaddressbook-trinity has in reference, I've noticed there's a package "libical1a" with "a" added to the name. I suppose there may be another package that Debian has been updating in naming which is causing similar issue.

thanks

You can use alternative apt source known as 'preliminary-stable-builds':
