Another workaround is to remove all network connections and start kmail. The dialogue to choose whether to work offline or not will appear. Choose online then close kmail. This bug had me a bit desperate for a while. Created attachment 2527 [details]
Fix kmail crash when start in offline mode
I will propose to push patch into upcoming R14.0.1!
Patch pushed to GIT in hash 793982b7 (master) and 37ed3517 (r14.0.x). Now that the tdenetwork tarball is updated, I updated to R14.0.1 from a July git build. Every time I start kmail I am prompted with a dialog that kmail is currently in offline mode. Never mind. |
