By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2010-08-26 01:10:45 CDT
When the user selects zero desktop effects, a common choice for users with older hardware, the mouse pointer should be configured for passive feedback and not the bouncing pointer.

From what I see in TDE 3.5.13, the kpersonalizer does not set the cursor feedback effect at all.

When creating a new user, then login for the first time, I can choose either the lower or the higher visual effects in kpersonalizer, I always get the setting "no feedback" on the cursor.

So I think this enhancement request should be changed to: "set bouncing cursor as default for people with modern hardware".

Yeah, been a long time since I looked at this bug report. :)

When I wrote the report the much hated bouncing cursor was the TDE default, inherited from KDE. That since has been changed and the default now is the passive no busy cursor. (Yippee!)

No, I don't want a bouncing cursor as the default and need to move the slider to obtain the passive no busy cursor. Leave everything as is! That is, let's set this report to resolved.
