By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Francois Andriot 2015-07-27 17:15:40 CDT
Hello, the libcaldav/libcarddav packages report they need curl >= 7.5.15 to build (see "configure.ac" file), but this is not true.

Under RHEL 5, using precisely curl 7.5.15, these 2 packages FTBFS, because of undefined macros:

CURLOPT_POSTREDIR
CURL_REDIR_POST_ALL
CURLE_PEER_FAILED_VERIFICATION
CURLE_SSL_CACERT_BADFILE
CURLE_SSL_ISSUER_ERROR

Hi Francois,
I believe RHEL 5 is in ELS mode these days.
Do you think this bug still need to be addressed, e.g. do you see the same problem in more recent version of RHEL or any other distro you are using?
If not, ok to close it?

Hello, you are correct, RHEL5 is about to being discontinued entirely.
It works correctly on all other distros, so this bug can be closed.
