I have started preliminary work on this. Just for info, I am slowly working on it. Looking good so far, but still many things to do. Session panel is now available, but there still some thigns to fix up. 1) update handbook 2) when a session is closed with Kate open, at the next login two Kate windows are shown instead of one Other things that require fixing: 1) clean up session files of unused entries (extra docs, extra windows) 2) add mouse right click popup menu to session for session actions 3) Kate session menu in main TDE menu does not show the sessions in the same order as in Kate Commit 828bd2ad fixes the restoring of multiple main windows. Two more problems found during this investigation (that will need to be fixed): 1) if "save last session" is set, when shutting down/logging out without closing Kate, the session is not save. The session is saved correctly when closing Kate in the normal way. 2) When switching between sessions with different number of main windows (MW), the number of windows is not handled correctly. For example going from a 2 MW session to 1 MW session, the second MW is not closed. > 1) if "save last session" is set, when shutting down/logging out without closing Kate,

This has been fixed in commit 232282cb.
Handbook has been updated in commit 6b48ef26. > 3) Kate session menu in main TDE menu does not show the sessions in the same order as

Fixed in commit 9146504f.
The required parts for R14.1.0 have been done and this bug will now be closed. Remaining improvements are now tracked in TGW: https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdebase/issues/142 |
