By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Michele Calgaro 2015-08-14 04:12:40 CDT
I am not able to reproduce this bug systematically, but I have seen it happening many many times.

How to try to reproduce:
1) open Kate and open some files.
2) do a Find in Files search that includes results in at least one of the open files.
3) double click on search results corresponding to already open files. Sometimes Kate switch to the already open file, sometimes it opens another copy of the same file already opened.

If you are doing changes, the latter behavior results in having two *different* open copies of the same file and the consequence is that depeding on the saving order you end up with or without the changes you made when you exit Kate.
Really annoying!
