By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

There is a confusion about sudo and some system utilities.

Ksysv for instance, cannot be run from the users menu because it only accepts the root pw, which had never been reset since the install as I used sudo for that.

I got that fixed with some help from Nk, but that also affected synaptic, which also only accepts the root pw after setting one..

There are I'm sure workarounds but trying to remember which pw to use is still a PIMA.

As the first user, I have sudo perms, but the menu should be verified item by item, and those which do not accept the 21st users pw, should be fixed so they will run.

Those that will not run except from a root pw, and then refuse to run because root has no perms on the users xsession, also need fixed. That is fixed by running synaptic-pkexec from a shell.

Thanks & Cheers.

Hi all,

I also vote for Darrell's VNC-related bugs. They are quite annoying.

I would be great if these bugs could be considered:
bug 2552
bug 2529

Thank you!

Bug 2566 seems like a very important bug to fix.
