By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Darrell 2010-09-08 18:06:35 CDT
When selecting the first file in the Compare Files or Folders dialog box, kompare always automatically changes the other file text box to the same directory. For me, this is wrong about half the time I use kompare. Often I compare files across directories or want to keep the same file selected in the first text box.

In those cases, selecting a new file in one of the text boxes and wanting to keep the same base file in the other text box is impossible without some manual copying and pasting.

There should be a way to disable that behavior such that kompare does not automatically change the second text box entry.

FYI: in KDE4 this works correctly. Perhaps some code snippets can be massaged from KDE4. There are no configuration options. Kompare simply does not alter the second text box.
