By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description ThoMaus 2016-03-19 14:21:36 CDT
In all TDE applications under "Help" is an item "Report Bug/Request Enhancement".
It is obviously intended to start the Web browser directly in the bug report form with all the identifying information like component class and name already filled in (very helpful for users with a non-english locale)

This would actually be a significant improvement compared to KDE3.5 if it would work correctly ;-)

But alas, it doesn't, because Bugzilla throws up on the reported product "TDE 3.5"!

Further there is a bug reporting text from the help section "About ..." (e.g. "About Konqueror"). Here, in the a tab "Authors", is explained how to report bugs. This is redundant and distracts from the above mentioned primary bug reporting entry! It should be removed or, alternatively, a bug report wizard button should added here, too)

Additional suggestion: Either under the existing "Authors" or a "Bug Reporting" provide (with an I18N enabled explanatory text) the untranslated English component class and identifying name for both manual bug reports and postings in the mailing lists.

Product name (TDE 3.5 -> TDE) fixed in commit 0425541 (R14.1) and commit e7ba529 (R14.0).

Regarding the part of the "about..." section, it still needs to be done.
