The crash report is actually from R14.0.x, not R14.1.x so I changed the version number. Having said that, we know adept have issues with the most recent distros. There is already a bug open for that (see bug 2583). This is perhaps a potential duplicate. In the mean time is there another way top keep the install up to date? thanks in advance. My favourite is aptitude: CLI based client that works even when TDE or X are broken. You can also use apt directly. Alternatively if you like GUI clients, there is KPackage and Synaptic, although they are general tools and not specifically deb based. If you google around a little, you will find lot of tutorial and how-to. Adept will be dropped in R14.1.0. No more work will be done on adept. |

Details: Ubuntu 16.04 32 bit version TDE installed as per instructions When I try to run adept updater it crashes with signal 11 error. the crash report is attached. HELP! Thanks Mani
