By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Michele Calgaro 2016-05-04 06:29:03 CDT
1) Configure TDEPowersave to dimm the display after some time.
2) Wait until the time expires, the screen slowly gets dimm
3) Do something which does not involve changing desktop: the screen remains dimmed.
4) move to another desktop: the display come back to its original brightness

Additional note: would be good to add a selectable time field to specify the lenght of the dimm process, i.e. how long it takes to change from original brightness to dimmed mode.

Correction: doing something actually undimm the display, but again the change time is very long and the process very slow.

I observed that during the dimm/undimm process, the CPU goes crazy and several processes go to 30%+ CPU usage. One in particual is the dbus-daemon, not sure if this is related.

Observed using current R14.1.x trunk. Would be good if someone could confirm/deny the same under R14.0.3
