By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

Description Q4OS Team 2016-11-29 03:02:17 CST
If I select "Apply translucency only to decoration" option in TDE composition manager, the translucency is applied to complete windows. Checking and unchecking "Apply translucency only to decoration" checkbox makes no difference. Tested in Virtualbox as well as on a real hardware.

Exact steps to reproduce:
- Fresh TDE stable (14.0.4) installation on Debian Jessie
- Disable "GUI effects" for style: TDE Control Center -> Style -> uncheck "Enable GUI Effects"
- Login again
- Navigate to TDE Control Center -> Window Behavior -> Translucency
- check "Enable Trinity composition manager" checkbox
- check "Apply translucency only to decoration" checkbox
- check "Inactive Windows", set translucency to 50%
- Reboot
- Bug: translucency is applied to complete inactive windows instead of windows decorations only

Still does't work on R14.0.6 in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.
Also, options "blur the background of transparent windows" and "desaturate the background of transparent windows" do not work.

An option to control amount of blur and desaturation, similar to what is available in Crystal window decorations, would be welcome.
