Strange. What graphics card and driver are you using? Card: nVidia Corporation G98 [GeForce 8400 GS] (rev a1) But now I'm puzzled... how do I find out which driver I'm using? The config file is gone... That's not so easy anymore since udev took over Xorg configuration...you have to execute this at the command line: cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep "(II)" Then look for a line that seems to be referencing a graphics driver. There may be a better way to do this, I don't know. It seem nouveau driver is used. This is a fresh install and I didn't change anything yet. I'll try nvidia-current driver tomorrow. Everything's fine under nvidia driver, so it's clearly driver issue. That's what I expected. You should report this problem upstream to the nouveau project, as they should be able to resolve it. |
