By default, Bugzilla does not search the list of RESOLVED bugs.
You can force it to do so by putting the upper-case word ALL in front of your search query, e.g.: ALL tdelibs
We recommend searching for bugs this way, as you may discover that your bug has already been resolved and fixed in a later release.

An error has been located and corrected in the Trinity language string hander.

Please upgrade to the latest versions of kdelibs (currently ending in r1180991) and kdebase (currently ending in r1181053) and verify that the problem has indeed been resolved.
Comment 5 Denis Prost 2010-09-30 14:45:17 CDT
I tried with the new releases you mentioned :
The translation problem is fixed for kicker applet adding dialog, but left panes in kcontrol and konqueror config dialog are still in english.

What architecture (i386/amd64) and distribution (lenny/squeeze/maverick) did you test this on?

Thanks!
Comment 7 Denis Prost 2010-09-30 15:04:07 CDT
squeeze, i386.
Comment 8 Timothy Pearson 2010-09-30 15:19:16 CDT
Could you please send me the output of:
dpkg -l | grep trinity

Something doesn't seem right; I just tried Squeeze with the German translations (the only other language I can sort of read) and everything that showed up was translated correctly.

Thanks!

Everything looks good in that list. I assume you have already logged out and logged back in?

This will probably have to wait for 3.5.13.
Comment 11 Denis Prost 2010-10-01 02:23:17 CDT
Yes I had.
But now, I have just upgraded with the new release you provided this morning 3.5.12-0debian7+r1181397, and it solved the problem, everything is in french, thanks !
Comment 12 Timothy Pearson 2010-10-01 11:30:43 CDT
Great! That confirms the suspicion that it was a build problem, as I could not find anything wrong in the source code.

Thanks for reporting this problem!
Comment 13 Denis Prost 2010-10-16 05:43:11 CDT
The same problem exists on kubuntu maverick with 3.5.12-0ubuntu7+r1181781 release.
Comment 14 Denis Prost 2010-10-16 09:49:53 CDT
Sorry, I realized that kde-i18n-fr-kde3 was not installed (though some kde strings appeared translated, don't know why).
Now it is fixed, bug report reclosed !
