I tried now login - logout - restart X from login screen - login => all buttons were there I tried then logout - switch to console (ALT+F1) - restart tdm from init script - login => only logout, shutdown and restart buttons are there Can someone reproduce it? regards Hi Emanoil, I cannot reproduce this problem and I have been doing a lot of logout/login recently to test some new power state code, both in Debian and Slackware. What is the status on your system? Are you able to reproduce the problem? Hi, it is happening now and then, but I am not sure how it can be reproduced. For example after 11 days of running the PC, I logged in into another account (X session) by "lock screen" and "change user". After logout from the other users session I again did not have the full set and also other things were not working. I was thinking this could be a way to reproduce it, but I now tried twice to login and logout as different user, while one user was already logged in (so two X sessions in parallel), but I could not reproduce it. So it persist, but no idea when it happens - could it be dbus related, when running the PC over long period of time? Perhaps I try to setup dbus monitor as logger and see if I find something. Dbus seems to be picky and silently stops cooperation when a number of sessions exceeds. Not sure what to do - let me know if you have ideas regards It could be related to dbus perhaps. Have you done any upgrade while logged on? Perhaps this could have affected the available options... Let's keep the bug open and see if you can find a way to reproduce it systematically. Hi Emanoil, I have been monitoring logout/login and server restarts for this problem and never run into it. I also tried the method you described in comment 1 a few times and each time I see all the required buttons there (as root). I am using TDE R14.1.0-dev, debian testing with systemd and udisks2. Perhaps it could be dbus related. Maybe if you still see this bug, next time you login you can try to use d-feet to investigate what is available there. I am inclined to close this bug, since it seems we can't reproduce it and no one else has reported it. You could always re-open it again if you find a systematic way to reproduce it. What do you think? I can not reproduce it anymore - also on 14.1-dev Ok, then I will close the bug for the time being and as said feel free to reopen it if you run into it again and can reproduce it systematically. |
