I need to find the way to edit and send such broken UTF-8 text files safely :(
or you can sed -i -E '/\[ja\]/s/\xe3\x83$/&\xa0/' with GNU sed.

Probably, white-space-cleanup should be done with UTF-8 charset locale,
or 0xa0 may be recognized as NBSP and removed unfortunately.

didn't we find out recently that tqchar supports only 2byte UTF chars?

For desktop files in tdebase, corrupted lines had been fixed,
but compare with other languages, it seems that those end of lines are missng ";".
